Green Management Certification
The “Green Management Certification” is an environmental conservation standard promoted by the “Traffic Ecology and Mobility Foundation,” established with the cooperation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and funding from the Nippon Foundation.
It certifies and registers businesses that implement initiatives above a certain level based on the Green Management Promotion Manual, which includes promoting proper waste disposal and recycling.
Hankyu Ferry Co., Ltd. received this certification on May 30, 2007. We will continue to promote environmentally friendly management through efforts such as reducing fuel consumption.

Awarded in the Environmental Category for the new vessels “Izumi” and “Hibiki,” which introduced a dual hybrid propulsion system with excellent environmental and energy-saving performance, the first of its kind in domestic ferries, contributing to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and environmental conservation.
2016, Kyushu Transport Bureau Environmental Conservation and Traffic Barrier-Free, etc.
Awarded in the Traffic Barrier-Free Category for actively promoting the introduction of barrier-free compliant vessels to improve the mobility of elderly and disabled passengers in the management of regular passenger routes.
